Death of Mrs. Meade
Wife of William H. Meade Stricken With Neuralgia of the Heart.
Mrs. Florence Meade, wife of William H. Meade, of the Southern Pacific Railway Company, and a well-known woman, died yesterday forenoon at her home, 385 Clackamas Street. Holladays Addition, of the neuralgia of the heart. Her death was wholly unexpected, as she had not been confined to her home with sickness. She complained some last Friday, but her friends were not in the least concerned about her. She died at 10:30 A.M.
Mrs. Meade was 55 years old. She came to Portland in 1876, and was known and highly esteemed in a wide circle of friends in Portland. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock from the family residence and Lone Fir Cemetery will be the place of interment.
