Services will be Tuesday, June 29, at 3 p.m. in Eastside Free Will Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church Monday, June 28, beginning at 6 p.m.
Mrs. Michau was born Sept. 4, 1923, in Berkeley County, a daughter of the late Minor Hartley and Maggie Hartley Hartley. She was a retired employee of the former Shamrock Manufacturing Company and was a member of Eastside Free Will Baptist Church and its Adult Bible Class.
Surviving are five sons, Robert Lee Michau Jr., Williard Michau, Alex Michau, Henry Michau, all of Georgetown and Willis E. Michau of Socastee, a daughter, Linda Johnson of Pawleys Island; two brothers, Archie Hartley and Hennison Hartley, both of Georgetown; three sisters, Ethel Lambert, Dorothy Burrows and Mamie Cribb, all of Georgetown; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; and number of nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by daughter, Gladys Pope, who died Dec. 27, 2003.
