Ethel Hartley Lambert, 85, widow of Thomas Jackson "T.J." Lambert Sr., died at home Wednesday, May 15, 2013.

A daughter of the late Minor Hartley and the late Maggie Hartley Hartley, she was born August 29, 1927, in Jamestown, SC.

She was a founding member of Eastside Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. Most recently she attended Georgetown Church of God.

She was survived by five children, Tommy Lambert (Jackie) of Georgetown, Betty Rogers (Ervin) of Georgetown, Brenda Flegel (Michael) of Florence, Carolyn Radcliffe (Bobby) of Georgetown and John Lambert (Ruth) of Georgetown; 14 grandchildren, Timothy Lambert, Daniel Lambert, Robin Johnson, T.J. Lambert, III, Peggy Gray, April Davis, Chris Williams, Davey Lambert, Ray Lambert, John Leland Lambert, Mike Flegel, Gennie Barr, Joey Flegel, Thomas Radcliffe, and Renee Pitts; 52 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; a sister, Mamie Cribb of Georgetown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, David Lambert; three grandchildren, Jeffery Bardeaux, Jay Bardeaux and Candy Cruz; a great grandchild, Rodney J. Pitts Jr.; three brothers, Hennison Hartley, Archie Hartley, and Bubba Hartley; and four sisters, Lucille Michau, Dorothy Burrows, Elizabeth Abner, Letha Hartley; and a halfsister, Valley Hartley Moyd Britt.

Funeral Services Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Eastside Free Will Baptist Church of the Pentecostal Holiness Faith. The Rev. Arthur McElveen and the Rev. Ryan Pitts officiated. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
