STRONGHURST - Arthur Peterson, 67, of Stronghurst, died at 1 Saturday afternoon in the Burlington, Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 Wednesday afternoon in the Bethel Lutheran Church, Stronghurst, the Rev. Stanley S. Johnson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Stronghurst Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Fisher Funeral Home from 7:30 until 8:30 tomorrow night.
A son of Eric and Ida Matilda Peterson, he was born July 29, 1897, in Henderson County. He had farmed near Stronghurst until his retirement 10 years ago.
A member of Bethel Lutheran Church, he married Vera Dye in Oquawka, Oct. 20, 1923.
She survives with a daughter, Mrs. Darrell Gillett of Tuscon, Ariz.; two grandchildren; two brothers, Edwin of Stronghurst and Ray of Biggsville and three sisters, Mrs. Glen Reynolds and Mrs. Don Greenwell of Monmouth and Mrs. Ruth Gilbreath of Portland, Ore.
