Mrs. Donald (Edith) Greenwell, 65, died today at her home. She was born Edith Peterson in Stronghurst on Sept. 4, 1912, She was reared and educated in the Stronghurst area. She married Donald Greenwell on March 17, 1938 in Kahokia, Mo.
He survives as do two daughters, Dorothy Simmons and Donna Graul; two sons, Robert and John; two brothers, Ray and Ed; and two sisters, Ethyl Galbraith and Mable Reynolds.
She was a member of the Lutheran faith.
Funeral will be Friday at the Hoover Memorial Chapel with burial in Monmouth Cemetery.
