Betty Jane Schaible, 67, of 612 Pewterboy St., Van Wert, Ohio, died unexpectedly at 4:45 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, in Van Wert Community Hospital.
She was born March 15, 1927, in Lafayette. Her marriage was to John LeRoy Schaible on Dec. 24, 1965 in Lafayette. He died Nov. 6, 1982.
Mrs. Schaible was a nursing assistant with Van Wert Area Visiting Nurses.
She attended Calvary Evangelical Church and was a member of Veterans of Foreign War Auxiliary and Van Wert Moose Lodge.
Surviving are four children, Donald Anderson of Florida, Michael E. Bell of Fort Wayne, Stephen Beavers of Van Wert and Sharon Bussell of Lafayette; and two sisters, Barbara Nichelson and Jane Curts, both of Lafayette.
