Susannah Epperson Moberly is the daughter of Charles Epperson and Sarah Love Lamb Moberly. Susannah removed with her husband to Iowa in the 1840's locating in Linn Co. where they built the first dwelling house. The following children were born to this union, Sanford Cox, William Pedrow, Sarah Margaret, Nancy Ann, Charles Epperson, Richard H., Mary Jane, David Edley, John A., Daniel L., James Robert and Susan Amanda. They moved from Linn County to Buchanan in an early day and have practically lived here since. She was converted at the age of eleven and has been a member of the Methodist church since that time. She was a patient suffer for years, but endured it all for Christ's sake.
