Anna Scalisi Boullion, 92, of Oberlin passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2010 in an Oakdale Hospital.


Mrs. Boullion was a life long resident of Lake Charles and has lived the past eight years with her daughter in Oberlin. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting and praying. She will be most remembered for her faith in the power of prayer and her love and devotion to her family.


Mrs. Boullion was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society.


She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Yvonne Boullion Babineaux and husband Sigmund of Oberlin; three granddaughters, Katherine Babineaux Hodgeson and husband Ron, of Broken Arrow, OK, Marlena Babineaux Corley and husband Sanford of Mauriceville, TX and Julie Babineaux of Lake Charles; five great- grandchildren, Ronnie Hodgeson, Justin Chatman, Kurt Hodgeson, Emily Corley and Colton Corley. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins.


She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Roy Boullion; parents; two brothers and two sisters.


Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 18, 2010 in the Johnson Funeral Home. Monsignor Jace Eskind will officiate. Interment will follow in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation Friday will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. Visitation Saturday will be from 8:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.


In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local food bank of choice.
