Helen Kay Adkins-Tolliver, 58, of Pineville, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2010, at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer. Helen enjoyed taking care of her home, fishing, gospel music and being with her family.

Born November 6, 1951, at Keyrock, she was the daughter of the late William "Bill" Adkins (1906-1955) and Susie Beverly-Adkins (1907-1969). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Jesse James Adkins (1927-1969), Ott Adkins (Deceased), Cleve Adkins (1931-1973) and Estel Adkins (Deceased), and one sister, Corbie Adkins-Morgan (Deceased).

Survivors include her husband, Okey A. Tolliver; four sons, Wayne Adkins & wife Linda Adkins of Crany, and Brian Keith Adkins (1978-2011), Steven Ray "Fatboy" Tolliver (1981-2020), and Russell Tolliver, all of the residence; a daughter, Lora Lynn Tolliver-Compton-Shropshire and her husband Roger Compton of Pineville; two brothers, Roger Adkins of Chicago, IL and Tommy Adkins of Keyrock; and three sisters, Myrtle Adkins-Hamm of Keyrock, and Virgie Adkins-England and Lucille Adkins, both of Gulf Fork.

A celebration of Helen's life will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2010 at Calfee Funeral Service Chapel, Pineville with the Rev. Leroy McMillion officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Family Cemetery, Pinnacle Creek.
