Guy was gassed in France during WWI. Eventually his lungs cleared after returning to this country. He saw action in St. Milheil; Meuse-Argonne;St. Die (Lorraine);Villers-en-Hayne(Lorraine). Somewhere in France he had a chance meeting with his Brother Chester. One group was heading North and the other South. Each didn't know if the other was alive or not prior to the chance meeting. Guy was honorably discharged at Camp Devens, Ayer,Ma.. on July 29,1919. Guy worked for the General Electric River Works Plant in Lynn,Ma. Their main product was manufacturing aircraft engines.
