O. L. Yarmon Funeral
Rites On Sunday

Funeral services for O. L. Yarmon were held at 2 P. M. Sunday at the Methodist Church with Rev. J. B. Brox, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Palmer, Nebraska cemetery. Pallbearers were Myron Ward, Iri Ward, E. J. McCauley, Mark Hendrickson, Louis Sock and Edwin Davis, Floyd Buchanan, J. R. Merrill; E. M. Jacobsen, and Lloyd Wamsley, all I.O.O.F. members served as honorary pallbearers. Mrs. Chas. Towslee and Mrs. John Vitamvas sang three hymns with Mrs. Gerald Schott at the piano. Ushers were George Carter and Harry Sanders. Caring for the flowers were Mrs. Myron Ward, Mrs. Myrtle Whited and Mrs. Irl Ward.
Mr. Yarmon died Thursday afternoon in a Columbus hospital following an illness of several weeks. He was born June 22, 1872 at Sandusky, Ohio, the fourth child of a family of fourteen children. His parents, Joseph and Hannah Yarmon, came to Merrick county bringing him as a child of two years. He grew to young manhood here and on April 12, 1898 he was united in marriage to Miss Blanche Vernon at Central City. The have resided in the Silver Creek Community since 1915. He was a faithful member of the Methodist Church and at one time active in the local I.O.O.F. lodge.
Surviving is his wife and one daughter, Miss Mabel Yarmon of Omaha and one sister, Mrs. Rebecca Folsom of Lakefield, Minnesota; Mr. and Mrs. Ray McFarland and Dick McFarland all of Akron, Colorado; Mr. and Mrs. Ernie Johnson and Mrs. Gwendolyn Vang all of St. Paul; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Vang, Wolbach; Mr. and Mrs. Homer Jolls, Grand Island; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Whiteman, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Vernon and son all of Omaha; Mrs. Wayne Bennett, Malvern, Iowa; Mrs. Ellsworth Taylor, Plattsmouth; Mr. and Mrs. Ed Tritna, Mrs. Mabel Anderson and Finn Walters, all of Wahoo.
