BISHARA, Malcolm "Mac" - 74, Sand Beach, Yarmouth Co., died April 17, 2003, peacefully at home. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Joseph G. and Ethel A. (Shediac) Bishara. He owned and operated Mac's Garage for 43 years. He was a school bus driver for several years and was a veteran of the Yarmouth Fire Department, St. George, Company 1. He was also a member of the IOOF and was an active member of the Roaring Twenties Antique Auto Club and was an avid sponsor of Stock Car Racing in Southwest Nova Scotia. He is survived by his wife, the former Marion Doris Patten; sons, Chris (Judy), South Ohio, Yarmouth Co.; Tom (Kathy), Jason (Angela), both of Sand Beach, Yarmouth Co.; Bryan, Ontario; grandchildren, Matthew, Justin, Jessica and Jenna; great-grandchild, Hunter. He was predeceased by brothers, John, Wilfred, Doug, David, Victor and Stanley; sister, Louise. The body is resting in Sweeny's Funeral Home, Yarmouth, where service will be held 2 p.m. today, Rev. A.D. "Bill" Newell officiating. Burial will be in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Canadian Diabetes Association.
