MARY ETHEL BISHARA dies at 89.
Yarmouth: Mary Ethel Bishara, 89, of 100 Main Street, Yarmouth, died Saturday, March 27, 1982, in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Joseph L. Shediac and Mary L. (Berchast) Shediac.

She was the last surviving member of her family and the last of the original immigrants from Lebanon in Yarmouth County. She was a member of the Ladie's Lebanon Club and Ladies Auxiliary Branch 61, Royal Canadian Legion. She lived in Yarmouth for the past 67 years.

She is survived by four sons, Wilfred (Yarmouth Town Councillor), David and Stanley, all of Yarmouth; and Malcolm, Sand Beach, a half-sister, Mrs. Mary Conrad, Halifax; 13 grand children and seven greatgrandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph; a daughter, Louise, and three sons, Victor, Douglas and John.

The body was in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Yarmouth. Funeral was held Tuesday in Beacon United Church, Rev. Ray Corbett officiating. Burial will be in Mountain Cemetery in the spring.
