HAWK - Ozella Braswell Hawk, age 94 of Monroe, passed away December 28, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, December 30, 2012 in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Bryan Armour will officiate, and interment will follow at Mt. Paran Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Hawk was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church
in Monroe. She loved cooking and was the last surviving of eight children.
She was preceded in death by her first husband of 40 years, Jim Braswell and her second husband of 12 years, Lloyd Hawk. She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Bentley and Nancy Atha, both of Monroe; grandchildren, Tim and Becky Atha, Kay and Steve Head, Renee Jones, Rhonda and Mark Brown, all of Monroe; seven great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
