Julius P. Adcock
Julius P. Adcock, age 87 of Monroe, died July 3, 2008. Mr. Adcock was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran receiving the Purple Heart and was a retired supervisor with the Walton Fabric Division of Avondale Mills with over 47 years of service. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Monroe.
Funeral services were held at 3p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2008 in the Monroe Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home. The Rev. Chris Conner officiated, and interment followed in Westlawn Cemetery.
He is survived by his widow: Mary Adcock: Daughter: Anita Cox of Good Hope; sons and daughters-in-law: Floyd and Barbara Adcock of Madison, Phil and Joy Adcock of Navarre, FL, Mark and Susan Adcock of Monroe; sisters: Lessie Hester and Ozella Hawk, both of Monroe; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
