Grover C. Hickey, eighty-one, of Lancaster R6, died in Lancaster General Hospital at 6:15 a.m. today after a brief illness. He was a lifetime resident of Lancaster and retired in 1950 after 40 years employment at the Armstrong Cork Co. He also operated a grocery store at Sunnyside for 20 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 84; American Order of Otters; Foresters of America; and the Loyal Order of Moose, Lodge 299. Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Ruth Mott; Dorothy, wife of Frederick Deisley; Beatrice, wife of Charles A. Ream, all of Lancaster; and Clara M., wife of Richard W. Heinzelman, with whom he resided. Also surviving are three sons, Grover C. Hickey Jr.; John E. Hickey, both of Lancaster; and Clarence Hickey, of New York City; two stepson, Guy Bechtold of Lancaster and George Bechtold, of Lititz; 25 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth, wife of Elmer Randoe, Darlington, Md.
