Pearcy, Arkansas - FRED A. MAYO JR., 71, died Sunday, August 14, 2005. He was born on December 23, 1933 at Memphis, the son of Fred Anthony Mayo Sr. and Inez Parsons Mayo. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn 'Susie' Mayo, one son, Timothy Mayo, his parents, two brothers, Jack Mayo and Billy Mayo; and one sister, Kathryn Jane Bailey. He was a retired District Manager having worked for American Motors Company for 19 years and was a U.S Navy Veteran during the Korean War. He is survived by his son, Tony Mayo and his girlfriend, Savenna Helms of Haughton, Louisiana; six grandchildren, Samantha and her husband, Kevin Wolf of Hot Springs, Shayne and his wife, Lilana Mayo of San Diego, California, Christopher Mayo of Hot Springs, Timothy Mayo of Monterey, California, Ian Mayo and Hunter Helms, both of Haughton, Louisiana; two great-grandchildren, Wyatt Wolf and Christopher Williams; and one sister, Mary Ann Vickrey of Memphis.
