Nancy B. Brown, 76, of Peoria, IL passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 6:30 pm at the Bel-Wood Nursing Home, Bellville. She was born December 10, 1933 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of Floyd and Elva (Cullers) Carr. She married Francis Brown August 19, 1951 in Bloomington. He survives along with four children; Diane (Marty) Faulkner of Bartonville, Becky (Gary) Slawik of Peoria, Barbara Kupisch of Bensenville, and Dan (Lady) Brown of Cypress, TX; thirteen grandchildren; one great grandson; and one sister, Carolyn Mitchell of Bloomington. Preceding her in death were her parents, one brother, and one sister. She attended Riverside Community Church of Peoria and was a past president of the Peoria Christian Women's Club. She was a co-founder of Limestone Girl's Softball Association.
Services will be Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010 at 10:00 am at the Riverside Community Church, Peoria and a graveside service at 2:00 pm at Evergreen Cemetery, Bloomington. Pastors John King and Aubrey Eubank will be officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, Sept. 8th from 6 to 8 pm at Endsley-Sedgwick Funeral Home, Bartonville.
