EL PASO -- Joan M. Hannah, 69, of 76 N. Adams St. died at 12:30 p.m. Monday, July 26, 1999, at BroMenn Regional Medical Center in Normal.
Born Sept. 19, 1929, in Bloomington to Floyd and Elva Cullers Carr, she married Richard "Dick" Hannah on Aug. 9, 1953, in Bloomington. He died April 8, 1998. She also was preceded in death by one son, Rickey, on Oct. 12, 1968. Surviving are one daughter, Carol (Kevin) Lowery of Danvers; five grandchildren; two sisters, Carolyn (Loren) Mitchell of Bloomington and Nancy (Fran) Brown of Peoria; and one brother, Floyd (Ernestine) Carr of Tremont.
From 1968 to 1988, she and her husband owned Hannah's Market.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Froelich Memorial Home in El Paso. The Revs. Randy Williams and Brent Salm will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the El Paso Rescue Squad.
