PHILIP W. ALEXANDER, 53, of 6606 Chippewa, entered into rest Thursday. Resident of Houston 40 years. Employed with Gulf Printing Co. for 30 years. Survivors: Mother, Mrs. Minnie Lee Alexander, Houston; sisters, Mrs. Verna Irish, Esther Harris, both of Houston, Nellene Long, Napa, Calif.; brother, R. H. Alexander, of Houston. Services 10:30 a.m. Friday, Chapel of the Chimes, Rev. H. A. Berry, pastor of Spring Branch Memorial Assembly of God Church, officiating. Interment Brookside Cemetery. PAT H. FOLEY & CO., 2110 Tidwell.

Philip Alexander was preceded in death by his father, John Elijah Alexander; his sister, Norene Alexander Canon; and an infant brother, Stephen Howard Alexander.
