Arthur Wyckoff Died Here Monday
Arthur Elmer Wyckoff, 61, died at the Court Street Nursing Home in Bedford, Monday, February 1, where he had been taken only the day before. He had been sick the past several years.
Funeral services will be held at the Shum-Novinger Funeral Service at 708 State Street at three o'clock, Thursday afternoon, February 4. Rev. Walter Ortmann of Bedford will officiate. Burial in Fairview cemetery.

Funeral services for Arthur Elmer Wyckoff, who died in Bedford, Monday, February first, were held at the Shum-Novinger Funeral Service on State Street, Thursday afternoon, February 4. Rev. Walter Ortmann officiated. Burial was in Fairview cemetery.

Arthur Elmer Wyckoff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Elmer Wyckoff [Mary Elsina Rabourn], was born December 28, 1898 at Bedford, Iowa. On March 29, 1956, Mr. Wyckoff suffered a stroke, which made him bedfast, and he remained at his home with his daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Shimer.

He was married to Essica G. [ladys] Shehan, October 25, 1920 at Corning, Iowa.

Mr. Wyckoff is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary [Elsina Rabourn] Wyckoff; two children, Rowena Shimer and husband of Bedford, Donald Wyckoff and wife of Des Moines; seven grandchildren; seven brothers and four sisters, [Joseph] Alva Wyckoff and Rex [Raymond] Wyckoff of Bedford, Leroy [Dallas] Wyckoff and Ross [Allen] Wyckoff of Des Moines, Fred [Edward] Wyckoff of Red Oak, Carl Wyckoff of St. Joseph, Eldon Wyckoff of Liberty, Mo., Mrs. [Carrie] Fay Pullen of Bedford, Mrs. Nina [Estella] Gaule of Conway, Mrs. Bonnie [Vesper] Weil of Gravity, Mrs. [Esper] May Smith of Austin, Minn.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1937; his father, Lew Wyckoff; three sisters, Beulah Belle Wyckoff, Mrs. Rose [Alma] Cortner of Fontanelle, Lela [Leila Edna] Wyckoff; two brothers, Glenn [Drexel] Wyckoff and Lee Archer Wyckoff.

Mr. Wyckoff lived in Bedford most of his life, being well known as a mechanic.
