OBITUARY-
AUSTIN -- May Smith, 81, of rural Austin, died at her home Sunday, July 3, 1994.
May Wyckoff was born Sept. 16, 1912, in Bedford, Iowa, and married Clarence Smith on June 17, 1945, in the Sterling Church of Christ in Austin. She was a homemaker and lived in Udolpho Township the past 49 years.
Survivors include three daughters, Helen Jane Smith of Powhatan, Va., Joyce (Mrs. Bill) Krause of Concrete, Wash., and Pat (Mrs. Robert) Hambright of Cheyenne, Wyo.; two sons, Steve of Cheyenne, and Dwight of Austin; three sisters, Fay Pullen of Carson, Iowa, Nina Gaule of Bedford, and Bonnie Weil of Cheyenne; and a brother Rex Wyckoff of Bedford. She was preceded in death by her husband and several brothers and sisters.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Northwest Church of Christ here, with the Rev. Stephen Defor officiating. Interment will be in Lansing Cemetery in Lansing.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Worlein Funeral Home here and one hour before the service at the church.
