Resting along with his wife. Dad was a good and faithful christian family man. After graduating from Rhinelander High School(1952), he joined the Air Force and was sent to Bergstrom A.F.B. near Austin Texas, in the 27th Wing 523rd Strategic Fighter Squadron.
After his military service he moved to Washington State where he met his wife (our mother), and married 9-26-59, and went to work for Boeing for 35 years. Dad loved sports and traveling with our mom, and us kids.
A friendly and outgoing guy. He was a regular usher at Highlands Community Church and sometimes helped teaching in youth groups and enjoyed being a volunteer for the Special Olympics. He loved camping and fishing, prospecting, making jewelry, searching for treasures with his metal detector and experemint with making wines. You could most usually out in the back yard in his garden. He would cut branches from his apple tree and trade with his co workers then graft varieties of apple tree branches on his tree. He had so many different kind of apples growing. He was very loved by his family, friends and is sorely missed.
