Ida Wilhelmina Radach Nickel daughter of Ferdinand and Marie Radach, was born June 10, 1886 in Redwood County, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Sanborn, Minn. On March 9, 1905 she was united in marriage to William C. Nickel. To this union five children were born. They lived on the family farm until 1941 when they retired and moved to Jeffers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include two sons, Arnold of Jeffers, Marvin of Springfield, Minn,. three daughters, Alma (Mrs Orva Hoehne) Jeffers, Mabel (Mrs Arnold Gode) Sanborn, and Elnora (Mrs Melvin Gode) Willmar, Minn., seventeen grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and two sisters, Adina Leopold, Springfield and Mrs. Martin Bierman, Jeffers.
