CARDEN, EVERETTE "DUKE" age 79 of Heiskell, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, March 29, 2006 at his residence.
He was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Powell and a veteran of the United States Navy having served in World War II.
Survived by: wife, Dorothy Carden; daughters, Robin & husband Jeff Vitelli, Tracy & husband Larry Nicely, Kim & husband Ricky Humphrey; grandchildren, Tara, Joy, Ben & Lori, Tommy & Christy, Daniel & Christy, Nicky, Kelly, Daniel, Jillian, Bradley, Jonathan, and Anna; great grandchildren, Kayla & Andrew; brother, Bobby Joe Carden & wife Mary Nell; sister, Margaret Carden.
The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, March 31, 2006 at Holley- Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Pastor Clarence Sexton officiating.
His burial will be 10:00 am, Saturday at Norris Memorial Garden.
Pallbearers will be: Ben Nicely, Tommy Humphrey, Nicky Humphrey, Daniel Nicely, Daniel Dent, and Kerry Thames. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to: Crown College, P.O. Box 159, Powell, TN. 37849.
