Winnie C. Rees,71, of 4795 57th Court N.E. Altoon, died of a blood disease Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. at Altoona United Methodist Church, and burial will be at Altoona Cemetery.
Mrs. Rees was born in Cedar Bayou, Texas and lived in Altoona for 42 years, moving from Des Moines. She had been a homemaker and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Lewis, and a daughter, Carolyn Mckeever, both of Altoona; two sisters, Margaret Darlington of Baytown, Texas and Lil Williamson of Arlington, Texas; two brothers, Bill Sjolander of Baytown and Earl Sjolander of Alto, Texas and two grandchildren.
