Dad was born on November 23, 1917 in Bristow, Oklahoma. He met and married his wife Angelina, 53 years ago. She preceded him in death just 10 months ago. He is also preceded by his brothers Spirlon, Ernest and Youil.
Dad worked for Southwest Manufacturing 35 years, longer than any other employee. During WW II he worked for Boardman Tank Co., where he welded hatch covers for ships and landing mats for airfields.
Clyde is survived by one daughter, Ann Colbert of Oklahoma City; two sons, Larry Burgett of Dallas TX, and John Burgett of Oklahoma City; granddaughters, Pamela McClendon and Brandace Colbert; one great-grandson T'Kaylon Smith; two sisters, Bess Arthur of Lubbock, TX and Ethel Kennonn of Amarillo, TX; & sister-in-law Viola Burgett of Salida, CO.

Services will be Wednesday, March 29, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
