Charles Edwin Bigler
Charles Edwin Bigler, 76, 630 Harmony Court, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Olpin, in Nephi following an illness of six weeks.
Mr. Bigler was born in Nephi December 7, 1858, a son of Jacob G. and Amy Loretta [sic] Bigler. He was married to Miss Mary T. Stevens in 1880. Mrs. Bigler died in Nephi in 1914. He married Jennie C. Mortenson in 1919, and since that time has made his home in Salt Lake City. He was an active L.D.S. church worker, spending much time in the Salt Lake City temple.
He is survived by his widow; four children, David Bigler, Payson; Mrs. Lynn Olpin and Mrs. J.H. Vickers of Nephi and Mrs. Spencer Miller, Harriman, and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Mary Ann Tanner, Mark Bigler, Mrs. Susanna Goldsbrough, all of Nephi; Mrs. Alice Garrett and James Bigler, Salt Lake City; 21 granchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Juab L.D.S. stake tabernacle, under the direction of the South ward bishopbric. Friends may call at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Olpin, Nephi. Burial will be in Vine Bluff cemetery.
