Roy served in World War II and was a member of the Christian Church and Lee Lowery American Legion post. He had worked for the McMillen Feed Mills.
He was survived by his wife, parents, three daughters, four sisters and three brothers.
The funeral was conducted at the Methodist Church by the Reverends Floyd E. Brewer Vernon W. McDormand.
