VIRGINIA LEE (ACREE) MOUSER The funeral of Virginia Lee Mouser, 71, of Gibson City will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Christian Church, Gibson City, the Rev. Rebecca Zelensky officiating. Burial will be in Drummer Twp Cemetery, Gibson City. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 p.m. today at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, and for one hour before the service Sunday at the church. She died at 1:25 a.m. Thursday 10-14-1999 at Covenant Medical Center, Urbana. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church in Gibson City. Mrs. Mouser was born 8-4-1928 at McAlester, OK, a daughter of Mose and Lula Blair Acree. She married Joseph Mouser 9-24-1949 at Gibson City and he survives.

Other survivors include one son, Joseph Michael (Tara) Mouser, Gibson City; and two sisters, Christine Boma, Piper City and LaVonne Martin, Normal. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Desiree Mouser and Valerie Mouser, both of Gibson City. Her parents, four brothers and one sister preceded her in death. Mrs. Mouser was a member of the First Christian Church in Gibson City and the American Legion Auxiliary, Piper City.
