Ellen I. Foster, 73, of 508 N. Jackson died Wednesday, June 21, 1995, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

Born Sept. 19, 1921, in Ipava to Thomas and Mary Barrett Coleman, she married Earl Foster on April 16, 1945, in Atlantic City, N.J. He died Aug. 7, 1992. A son, Robert, and one brother also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jim (Patricia) Nelson of Farmington and Mrs. Rod (Jo Ann) Russeau of Glen Ellyn; two brothers, Jack Coleman of Havana and Raymond Coleman of Canton; and two sisters, Sarah Dress of Jacksonville, Fla., and Adeline Bernard of Springfield.

She was a bookkeeper at Brimfield Elevator for several years.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary, both in Brimfield.

Burial will be in Brimfield Cemetery.
