A native of Thomas County, Mr. Nolan had resided in Albany since 1955, moving here from West Palm Beach Fla. He was assistant director of maintance with the Dougherty County Board of Education 31 years. He was a Methodist, a supporter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and a supporter of the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled Children.
Survivors include his wife Marlyne L. Nolan, seven sons; ----, ----,----,----,----, all of Albany, and ----, and ----, both of Baton Rouge,La.;two stepdaughters, ----,of Worth County and -----, of Cordele, two brothers, Kermit Nolan of Coral Gables,Fla., and Homer Nolan of Leesburg; four sisters, Mrs Beulah Howell and Mrs. Callie Mae Sanders of Camilla, and Mrs. Sammie Mae Hobbs of Dothan,Ala., and Mrs. Florence Ryner of Milan, and 14 grandchildren.
