Homer was the son of Sam and Cora (Thurman) Nolan.
Homer Lee Nolan Sr.,76 of Leesburg, died Thursday at Albany Health Care after a lenghty illness.
A memorial service will be at 3 pm today at Mathews Oaklawn Chapel Funeral Home. The Rev William Rowden will officiate. The remains were cremated.
A native of Early County, Mr. Nolan resided in Albany several years. He was retired from Coats and Clark, where he worked in the dye department. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose and of the Beattie Road Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Mary B. Nolan of Leesburg; a son,--------- of Mesquite, Texas,three daughters,--------of Leesburg, ------- of Albany, and -----of Pooler; four sisters, Callie Mae Sanders and Beulah Howell, both of Camilla, Sammie Mae Hobbs of Dothan,Ala., and Florence Ryner of Milan; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
