Mrs. Lea Vaudrin RLF, Dies at 72

A requiem high mass will be offered for Mrs. Lea Vaudrin of Red Lake Falls, monday at 9 a.m. from St. Joseph's Catholic Church of that city. The Rev. William Keefe will officiate.

Mrs. Vaudrin died Thursday afternoon at a Crookston hospital at the age of 72. She had been in failing health for two years.

The former lea Gervais was born in Polk County on April 30, 1888 to Mr. and Mrs. Cesare Gervais. On April 23, 1906, she was married to Napolean Vaudrin at Gentilly, and they farmed near there until 1945, when they moved to Red Lake Falls.

Surviving are seven sons, Orphier and Medi Vaudirn of Red Lake Falls, Thomas of Crookston, Raymond of Thief River Falls, Donald and Emil of South Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Maurice of Grand Rapids, Minnesota; three daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Antonia) Amiot of Gentilly, Mrs. Cecilia Perreault of Crookston, and Mrs. Wilfred (Annette) Audette of Red Lake Falls; 29 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and three brothers, Edgar Gervaise of Crookston, Candid of Gentilly and Albert of Grand Forks.

The body will lie in state at the Petterson Funeral Home in Red Lake Falls, Sunday from 3 p.m. with rosary recitation at 8 p.m.
