Jesse Nusbaumer Funeral on Sunday
Services for Jesse L. Nusbaumer, 90, retired farmer, who died at 11:25 a.m. Thursday in Clinic Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Poneto United Methodist Church, of which Mr. Nusbaumer was a member. He had been sick three weeks.
Rev. Tillman Nussbaum will be in charge of the rites, burial to be at Stahl Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Thoma-Rich Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. The body will be taken to the church Sunday noon.
A resident of Keystone Route 1, Mr. Nusbaumer had lived in Wells County since birth. Born in Nottingham Twp. April 12, 1884, he was a son of George and Katherine E. (Hunsinger) Nusbaumer.
His marriage to Ora Sawyer took place in Poneto Oct. 11, 1913. She died June 9, 1970.
Two sons and five daughters survive, Kenneth, Cloid and Mrs. Gerald (Bernice) Shannon, all three of Keystone Route 1; Mrs. Eugene (Nilah) Kelley of Montpelier; Mrs. Rolland (Juanita) Fennig of Bryant; Mrs. Herbert (Phyllis) Grove of Liberty Center Route 1 and Mrs. Byron (Donna) Stanton of Sarasota, Fla.
There are 22 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A sister, Mrs. Zella Roush, of Olney, Ill., also survives.
