MRS. BECHTHOLD PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Lizzie Bechthold, widow of the late John Bechthold, passed away last night in a local hospital following an operation. She was 66 years of age and a native of South Russia. Mrs. Bechthold had been a resident of the Lodi district since 1905 and she was the mother of George F Bechthold of Galt, Mrs. Bertha Stuck of Stockton, Henry, Otto Bernice, Alvin and John Bechthold, Jr., all of Lodi; the grandmother of Robert Byers of Stockton, Laverne, Catherine and Marvin McMullen of Lodi; the sister of Conrad G and Dave Baumbach, of Lodi; George D Baumbach of Chico, Jacob G Baumbach of Fresno, Mrs. Lena Reimche and Mrs. Katie Curtis of Lodi, and Mrs. Lydia Seibel of Galt. Services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock (place to be announced later) and the remains may be viewed at Hale & Bowden.

FUNERAL TODAY FOR LIZZIE BECHTHOLD

Funeral services for Mrs. Lizzie Bechthold, who passed away Thurs. night in a local hospital, will be held this afternoon at 2pm at the German Adventist church, with Rev. David Blanke and Rev. A Baumbach officiating. Interment will be in Lodi cemetery under the direction of Hale & Bawden.
