Service Set For Brother of Lodians
Funeral services will be held here Friday for George D Baumbach, 82, of Stockton, who died Tuesday night in a Stockton hospital after a long illness.
Mr. Baumbach was the brother of Mrs. Lena Reimche and Dave Baumbach, both of Lodi.
A retired carpenter, Mr. Baumbach was born in S Dakota and came to California in 1908. Prior to moving to Stockton in 1944, he resided in Chico.
He is survived by many relatives, including 10 children, 15 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
He was a member of the Stockton Moose Lodge.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan 10, at 2pm in the chapel of the Wells Funeral Home. Rev. Leo Merriam of the Seventh-day Church of God, Lodi, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Lodi Cemetery.

Funeral services for George Baumbach were held Friday afternoon in the chapel of the Wells
Funeral Home.
Elder Leo Merriam of the Seventh-Day Church of God officiated; Mrs. Carrie Wagenman and Mrs. Ruth Doyle sang "Rock of Ages" and "That Beautiful Land," accompanied by Mrs. Helen Botts at the organ.
Pallbearers were Roy Baumbach, Fred Baumbach, Otto Baumbach, Albon Reimche, Clarence Werner, and George Bechthold. Burial followed in Lodi Cemetery.
