Biography and researched by Carolyn Whitaker
Although no tombstone has been found, I feel
certain Andrew is buried here. Many of his children are buried here. His wife, Rosannah Bollinger's first husband, David Deal, is also buried here. Many tombstones are unreadable.

Record of ANDREW BOLCH WILL 1881
State of North Carolina
Catawba County December 6, 1878
I, ANDREW BOLCH, being of sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of life do this day make and publish this my last will and Testament thereby revoking all former wills in mounes? and form that is to say,

Item First I will and bequeath to my beloved son GEORGE BOLCH my home tract of land where I now live on about one hundred & forty seven acres except twenty six acres and the North West side embracing the JONAS PROPST tract which I will and bequeath to my two daughters CAMILA & SARAH BOLCH equally that is thirteen acres each to their use asfd behoof.

It is my will that my son GEORGE BOLCH is to have the entire home place except the twenty six acres already willed to my daughters above named, for the support and maintance of his Father & Mother further by paying out as follows to the heirs of GENELA SIGMON the sum of Eighty Dollars to be equally divided between them and further to the heirs of my daughter MARTHA M MILLER being the sum of Eighty Dollars to be equally divided between them and lastly to my daughter SUSAN M PROPST the sum of Eighty Dollars. It is further my will that after my death and my wifes death that my personal property be sold by my executor hereinafter named and all my debts are paid the residue if any is to be equally divided between all my lawful heirs.

Lastly, I hereby make nominate and appoint my son HENRY BOLCH Executor in my will requesting him to carry the same into effect.

The execution of the foregoing paper writing was this 9th day of May 1881 duly proved before me to be the last Will & Testament of ANDREW BOLCH decd by the oath and examination of C.N. HERMAN & ALEX MCCRARY subscribing witnefses thereto, Admitted to Probate, and ordered to be recorded.
