Nancy Katherine, called Nannie Kate, was the daughter of Bob and Julia Lipscomb. She had older siblings Carmen, Robert, Ruth, James, and George. Shortly after her death, her spirit appeared to her brother, James, and told him that she would come soon and take him with her. Less than six months later, he was killed by a hit-run driver on North Broad Street in Rome, GA.

She was remembered and spoken of by her Mother as long as she lived.

She is buried at Oakland Cemetary by the driveway nearest to Calhoun Ave.Nanny Kate, as she was called, ws the baby of her her family. She died after only a short illness when she was still a beloved toddler. She was the daughter of Robert and Julia Lipscomb.
