Mrs. Eliza A. Flood died 24 Oct 1895. Eliza Ann Major, the oldest of 10 children, was born near Frankfort, KY., 4 Mar 1818. Married to Joseph Flood, 1 Aug 1839. Joined the Old South Benson Church in 1840. They came to MO in 1846, settling near Fulton, Callaway Co. and lived there until 186? when they moved to Kearney, Clay Co. They had 6 children.

John, the eldest, died in 1879, leaving one son. Mary Yates, the eldest daughter died in 1888, leaving a son and daughter. Fratie, a baby of 16 months in 1852. Sallie Lureman, the third daughter died in 1890 leaving one son. The 2nd son, Noah; the youngest daughter, Annie and 6 grandchildren are left.
