On 17 Sep 1921, Inez married Fred Merven Leonard and they had six children: Cora May, Mervin Earl "Mike", Richard James "Dick", Wilford Warren, Henry William, and Teddy Francis.
Wilford was born on his mother's birthday, but lived only a couple of weeks. He died on 2 Apr 1929 in Oroville, California, where the family was living at the time.
The family returned to Weippe and Henry William was born 26 May 1930, but died of whooping cough on 13 Dec 1930.
Inez was widowed at age 43, she never remarried.
