Mrs Scharpenberg, a native of Fort Wayne, died at 6 am yesterday in her rural home where she had lived since 1923. Surviving are her husband, Henry; a daughter, Emily Bacon, of the same address; and a sister, Mrs Frieda Schnorr, Fort Wayne. Friends may call from 7 to 9 pm today and 2 to 5 and 7 to pm Saturday in E Harper & Son Funeral Home, New Haven, and after 1:30 pm Sunday in the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
