I am 77 years old. My wife Vivian and I live near Hessen Castle south of Fort Wayne. I was born in Wells County. Attended Liberty Center and Chester Center schools my first 4 grades and then moved to Warren and continued to graduate from Salamonie Township School. I Have been doing Genealogy work with over 23,000 just for our family alone. My wife and Just had our Tombstone place between my father's (Crayton Jr. Grubb) and my mother's (Mary Lucile Musselman Grubb). My brother, Gary John Grubb and his wife Barbara who had just past away this last Father's Day also just had their stone install just south of my fathers. My Grandparents are Crayton Allen Grubb and Ione Blanche Halfacre"Grubb just to the west of our stones. Ione's mother is Leah Emma "Showalter" Jamison. Albert Jamison was her 2nd husband. Her 1st husband and Ione Blanche Grubb's Father was Charles David Halfacre buried in Wabash County, Illinois. The Halfacre name was mispelled in her obituary and in the Toma Funeral home files. Charles David Halfacre had also chaned the spelling of his name to Hulfachor along with 2 of his brothers (2 brothers did not change their names.) Charles parents use the Halfacre spelling as well as the preceding generations. Also, My mothers grandparents are John Briggs Mounsey and Eliza Jane Wort and her Great grandparents are John David and Caroline "Stratton" Mounsey.
