Former Wabash RR Telegrapher Dies Theodore H Lichtsinn, 74, of 1319 Estelia Ave, died at 11:20 am yesterday in the Parkview Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient three weeks. A lifelong resident of Allen County, he was a telegrapher 46 years with the Wabash Railroad until his retirement 10 years ago. He also operated the Lichtsinn Grocery on Estella Avenue for 33 years until he sold it in 1962. Mr Lichtsinn was a member of the New Haven Methodist Church and the Knights of Pythias Lodge, No 34 of which he was past chancellor. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; five sons, Harold, Leroy, Winford and Ted Jr, all of Fort Wayne and Eugene Lansing, Ill; one daughter, Mrs Evelyn George, Fort Wayne; 26 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs Lulu Scharpenberg, RR 7, Fort Wayne and Mrs Frieda Shnorr, Fort Wayne. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Saturday in the E Harper & Son Funeral Home, New Haven, Dr Newman Jeffrey officiating. Burial will be in the New Haven IOOF Cemetery.
