Last rites for Mrs. Gordon Fullilove were held at the Vaiden Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon, April 9th, with the Rev. John E. Sutphin, Rev. James McCafferty & the Rev. Bob Love officiating. Interment was in Vaiden Cemetery with Lee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Serving as pallbearers were George Flowers, John Thompson, Lloyd Moore, Joe Russell, Randolph Oliver, Howard Oldham, Ed Corbin & B.H. Dyess.
Mrs. Fullilove who passed away at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis on April 7th was born in Tenn. Jan. 24, 1901. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Gordon Fullilove of Winona; Three daughters, Mrs. Edmon Chesteen, Mrs. Travis Middleton of Winona & Mrs. Billie Joe Foster of Ruleville; a son Billie Fullilove, US Navy, Norfolk Va.; 2 sisters, Miss Ruby Flippen & Mrs. Edward Felts, both of Greenwood; 4 brothers, Homer Flippen & Sam Flippen of McCarley, Donald Flippen of Shreveport, La., Ira Flippen; Natchez; & her step-mother, Mrs. Ira Flippen, Greenwood.
