MISS CORA VOWELS DIED AT SIKESTON
Charleston, Jan. 17. - Miss Cora Vowells, 75 years old, a native of Wyatt, died of influenza and complications at 4:35 a.m. today at the home of her sisters in Sikeston. She had been ill for several months.
The body was brought to the Nunellee Funeral Chapel and tentative plans were to hold funeral services at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Methodist Church. Rev. J. C. Montgomery, pastor, and Rev. A. B. Cooper, Baptist minister, conducted the rites and burial ws in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
