He was born January 18, 1944 at Newport, the son of Charlie Lawrence and Mary Louise (Hallmark) Adams.
Mr. Adams was a former farmhand, and of the Church of God belief. He was a United States Army veteran, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved to cook.
Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Charles Adams; and eight infant siblings.
Survivors include eight brothers, Lawrence Adams, Allen Adams, Jimmy Adams, Edward Adams, Lloyd Adams, Bennie Adams, Terry Adams and Doug Adams; four sisters, Freda Thornton, Uvel Williford, Wilma Tubbs and Shawna Pierce; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and aunt, Ruby Whitney.
Graveside services were held in Ballew's Chapel Cemetery at Grubbs.
