Fred's (Sr.)brother, Bill's birth certificate was Stansberry and his grave stone is Stansbury. His daughter, Mildred"s birth certificate has the name as Stansberry, and son, Fred's birth certificate shows Stansbury but was not officially recorded as such until 1942; he went through life spelling it Stansbury in school and in the military. Then he had it changed on his birth certificate as a typo from Stansberry to Stansbury. It probably was Stansberry originally and it was changed.
