MRS. FRANK UNDERWOOD

Josephine Casehier was horn in Kansas January 14, 1878 and died at her home near Eckert, January 25, 1928 at the age of 50 years and 11 days. In 1890 she was united in marriage to Frank Underwood in Oklahoma. The couple came to Delta county about 22 years ago and resided for a number of years on Ash mesa. Later they moved to the Coalby neighborhood where they resided a few years and about two years ago moved to a ranch near Eckert. Mrs. Underwood is survived by her husband and two sons, Carl and Oren. The former arrived from California Sunday to attend the last rites. Her parents, three sisters and two brothers also mourn. Funeral services were held at the Cedaredge Adventist church last Monday afternoon and interment made in the local cemetery.
