Funeral services for Homer C. Casebier, 80, of Midland were held Feb. 21 at the Phoenix Cemetery with Conger Morris Funeral Directors, Medford, in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Casebier died Feb. 18 at the Roseburg Veterans Administration Hospital where he had been a patient for two months. He was born in Kansas, son of the late Whitfield and Nancy Casebier.

He came to Klamath County in 1929 and farmed in the Mt. Stukel area. Later he moved to Midland and for 11 years owned and operated the Texaco Station and adjoining cafe.

Mr. Casebier was an Army veteran of World War 1 and a member of the American Legion Post No. 8 and World War 1 Veterans Barracks.

Homer Casebier married Viola Pippin May 31, 1941, in Reno, Nevada.
